What a Weekend

Sunday brought us back to Chicago for Matthew's baptism. we were there for a short while until we had to head home to milwaukee to host Christ care, whew. we were so tired, but had a great time.

On Saturday we went to Fort Wayne for a friend's wedding. It was so nice. We had a great time with Megan and Scott, stayed in a nice hotel, and had a blast with the best baby ever. Nora was perfect, all smiles and loved the wedding, music, and dancing.

Jenna and Matt had a perfect day the weather was almost as beautiful as the bride. So fun!

We had dinner at the Hawkins on Friday night with dad and Steph and the Geyers. It was great and the weather was awesome.

We had a very busy weekend, and nora is happy to be home. She recently has been playing in her jumperoo from aunt jess and uncle andy, having a good time . She was loving it this morning, and talking up a storm. I love how she is smiling at the camera, but keeping one hand on her toy the whole time in the first video!!

New Schneider News

Its been a long time since we updated this thing, many people are asking what nora has been up to. Shes busy making lots of noises, grabbing toys, rolling, playing in her jumperoo, going for stroller rides, and losing all of her hair! Here are a few pics;

She is pushing herself up from her stomach, on saturday she rolled over 2 times from her back to her stomach

standing up with her weight supported. She will stand up for a very long time and only needs a little support. We think we might have an early walker!


FIRST CEREAL! nora tried rice cereal for the first time on April 9. She wasn't really sure of it at first, but started to get the hang of it. She ended up grabbing the spoon and sucking on it. She is getting much better at it, and gets excited when its coming towards her mouth.

Other Exciting things...

- petes sister Jess and her husband Andy are expecting! She is due in early September. We are SOOO excited for them, and it will be fun for Nora to have a cousin her age!

- Amanda's parents came to town for her bday- on the 10th. we had fun hanging out, going to breakfast, and enjoying Pete's famous bloody marys.

- G and G schneider babysat so we could go to a brewers game with Matty last week-very very nice to get out of the house and have a little break.

- We are about to start a busy season of weddings and travel, and can't wait for warm weather.

- Amanda has had a number of interviews and some offers, we are excited for a decision to be made in the next few weeks about where she will be teaching this fall.

- we are putting our house on the market very soon, and will be looking for a new place to live this summer (hopefully!) so we have been spending a lot of time sprucing it up and cleaning.

Easter 2009

For Easter this year, we were in Milwaukee. We spent a lot of time with family in Menomonee Falls. We had breakfast at church, then went to church, and hung out and had an awesome easter meal during the day on sunday. Got to see lots of Schneider relatives- it was great! We had sleepovers and watched the Brewers/Cubs games all weekend.

Great Grandpa's birthday!

We went down to Chicago for Grandpa Zimmers birthday party on March 29. We had a great time at their house, seeing lots of family that we haven't seen in a while. Cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents.. It was very nice. Later that week G and G Zim came up to Brown Deer to visit with jeni and steph. We had a good lunch, and nora loved the hugs and kisses from her family. I think grandpa enjoyed having her around for his bday as well!!

Noras BFF

Nora and Lauren (the daughter of our friends, meaghan and jason) have been hanging out a lot lately. Lauren is 2 1/2 months older than Nora, but they are about the same size. they like to play together, hold each others hands, and show off all the awesome stuff they know to each other. having nora has led us to enjoy new friendships- this has definitely been one of them!

they came over last month and while nora was upstairs getting her pjs on , Lauren was doing the same downstairs. when we came down they were in matching pjs..too cute!
