opening a special present from grandma and grandpa- a picture book of her first year

Its hard to believe it has been a year already since Nora has been a part of our family. In ways it feels like she has been here forever, in other ways the year has gone sooo fast. She has already begun to celebrate her wonderful year of life. The fesitivities began this weekend in MN with grandma and grandpa. We will post more from our wonderful trip north later, but wanted to put up a few photos from her party with grandma, grandpa, mama, dada, and aunt steph.

Visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa

The weekend of the 13th we went to Springfield to surprise Amanda's grandpa for his birthday! It was a very fun and relaxing weekend on the farm with them and cousin Jess. We went out to eat, played on the farm, played with all of grandmas fun things, got to see Amber, and just hung out!
playing with great grandma and my favorite toy, OWL (which i can say now!)

playing by the barn, such cool things on a farm!

petting the horse, which was very exciting! (close your eyes grandma zimmer!)

helping feed the friendly goat ,Cookie. NOra was obsessed with all the animals, saying hi and wanting to play with them. None of them were very interested in her, but she didn't seem to mind, she loved them anyways!

Got some good QT with cousin Jess

NOra in November

Here she is waiting patiently to go in the water at the waterpark. i think the look on her face is quite obviously- "mom, are you kidding me, put the camera down and take me in that water already!"

Nora enjoying her bathtime. We have to get creative in our small space. Sometimes it is a sink bath, sometimes buckets and baby tub , sometimes its a shower. As long as she gets wet, shes happy!

Nora and daddy playing at a hotel.

This is one of Nora's favorite things to do, stand on the couch and look out the window, often times saying hi to everything outside!
