Visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa

The weekend of the 13th we went to Springfield to surprise Amanda's grandpa for his birthday! It was a very fun and relaxing weekend on the farm with them and cousin Jess. We went out to eat, played on the farm, played with all of grandmas fun things, got to see Amber, and just hung out!
playing with great grandma and my favorite toy, OWL (which i can say now!)

playing by the barn, such cool things on a farm!

petting the horse, which was very exciting! (close your eyes grandma zimmer!)

helping feed the friendly goat ,Cookie. NOra was obsessed with all the animals, saying hi and wanting to play with them. None of them were very interested in her, but she didn't seem to mind, she loved them anyways!

Got some good QT with cousin Jess

NOra in November

Here she is waiting patiently to go in the water at the waterpark. i think the look on her face is quite obviously- "mom, are you kidding me, put the camera down and take me in that water already!"

Nora enjoying her bathtime. We have to get creative in our small space. Sometimes it is a sink bath, sometimes buckets and baby tub , sometimes its a shower. As long as she gets wet, shes happy!

Nora and daddy playing at a hotel.

This is one of Nora's favorite things to do, stand on the couch and look out the window, often times saying hi to everything outside!

Pumpkin Farm

ON sunday Nora's grandparents took her to the pumpkin farm. We had so much fun on a hayride and picking out pumpkins. NOra liked the tractor and loved the field of pumpkins. It was a little chilly and muddy but Nora wanted to be on the ground the whole time. she was reaching for the pumpkins and finally found the perfect one.

Here is nora with grandpa and her pumpkin, she couldn't stop hugging it!

all ready for the pumpkin farm!

Nora News

This is nora posing by her new wall art that mommy and aunt steph made the other weekend. We finally got something on the wall in her room to add to her owl/forest theme. It is very cute and she likes looking at it when she wakes up in the morning!

Nora thinking she is ready to feed herself with the spoon!

Helping Daddy with laundry

Nora has been very into her babies. She likes to hug and hold them. She also gives them drinks (after taking a drink herself). It is so cute- she is a good little mommy. She crawls around with her babies in her hands. The other day pete tried to put her in her high chair without her baby and she cried until he gave her the baby back!

Nora in her ballerina pajamas. We bought them because they were on clearance- obviously- and had no intention of her actually wearing the tutu. But when we put the jammies on we had to at least try it on, it was funny and she knew it! She was very cute and posing for pictures.

Family Time in CANADA

OVer due Updates

So it has been an incredibly long time since we have updated the blog. We have been busy as usual and Nora is as cute as ever ( i know she is the only reason anyone checks this anyways)

We had a great end to our summer. Canada, zoo, weddings, family, getting ready for the school year, visiting friends, and more.

The fall has proved to be as busy but fun and rewarding.
Updates:
- Amanda started school, teaching full day kindergarten.
-Pete is still working at Groth doing his architecture thing... and nora is enjoying 2 days a week with Grandma Schneider and 3 days a week at daycare. We are very blessed to love her childcare situation. It makes it a little easier to be away from her for so long .
-Pete's cousin Nicki and Roger had a baby girl, Addison in August.
-We became aunt and uncle on September 10th when Jess and Andy welcomed Molly Elizabeth.
- Our friends Jason and Meaghan (and Noras bff Lauren) moved to Atlanta =(
- Steph is student teaching in Chicago so it has been great to be close in distance to her, especially during September

NOra updates:

She is crawling fast
Eating everything in sight, Her favorite foods are black beans and bananas
She is close to walking, crusing all over the furniture
She says buh bye, hi, da-da,ma-ma , bapa (grandpa)

Im sure there are lots more things I am forgetting, but I just wanted to let you all know we are still alive and doing well!!!
