Hangin with Henry

On Friday night Henry came to sleep over. (Henry is four and a half, Amanda has been watching him since he was born. ) He and Nora had a great time together. We aren't sure who liked it more, Henry or Nora. They laughed and played together. Nora really likes having other kids around to look at. Henry loved playing with her, making her laugh, and moving her piece for candy land- 'because she can't reach'. Henry even got to sleep in Nora's room!

She only gets cuter

Here are some pictures of one of Nora's new headbands. Her dad thinks they are ridiculous. Her mom thinks they are adorable. But they agree that she is the cutest thing ever. Don't you think so?!?

She starting sitting in this little seat. She kind of looks around and smiles- figuring out that no one is holding her. It gives her a break and a new look at the world, and her parents a break from holding her.

Another Awesome Weekend.

This past weekend was amazing for a lot of reasons. We went down to visit Steph in River Forest on Friday. Then we went to John and Sarah's for what I thought was just a regular weekend to hang out. Saturday Steph had planned a huge surprise- a shower for Nora with a ton of my family. There were so many family member there, who drove and flew from all over. It was so great to see everyone, and so special that they all could come.

The whole Beltz family(minus uncle terry) from CO, MO, TX came. Kate, Aunt Pam, Emily, Sam, and Cassie. There were definatly tears when I saw all of them. It had been too long, and it was too short, as it always is!!

Nora got this monkey, and a beautiful quilt from her great grandpa and grandma Schneider, and she LOVEs them. She had a stare down with the monkey, it was very cute!

Save the Drama for your mama

This wonderful shirt is from Aunt Steph. I decided to put it on Nora today as outfit number 3 (at 9 am).. I did not realize how tight it was...awesome. She is busting out of it, and her pipes and 'tude totally fit the tshirt's description!

Our days at home are so much fun when Megan comes. Megan is my friend from college, she is in grad school right now so she has a lot of free time, what better way to spend it than with us?!?! She is like our personal assistant. We went shopping yesterday and Megan carried bags, wiped noses, and pushed carts making the whole experience much more enjoyable..what would we do without her??

Leaving MN

We had SO much fun in Minnesota and didn't want to leave.

It takes about 6 hours to get home to Minnesota, and a little longer with an infant!! Nora was awesome in the car, she slept most of the time, and was otherwise very entertained by her backseat mate, Aunt Steph. She put on puppet shows, played with her, read books, and sang songs.

We were spoiled with lots of visitors throughout the weekend, especially at the baby shower that we had on Saturday. It was very nice to see everyone and we got some very nice baby things!!

Grandpa finally got to see and hold Nora. He hadn't seen her since Christmas!!! Throughout the weekend he was telling her all about the cubs and bears 'situations' and asking what she thought about them. We also caught him giving her his credit card numbers saying' you can have whatever you want!'

Leah who has been babysat by Jeni, Amanda, and Steph came over for the shower.

Megan, a friend of Amanda's from highschool came by to see us.. well really just nora!

LEA from St Cloud came for the shower and stayed all day, it was so great to see her and to catch up.

February 6 AKA Steph's Birthday

We got to go up to MInnesota this weekend for a few celebrations, and to see Amanda's parents. Friday night we had a little birthday party for Steph, who turned the big 22. It was great to see our friends and hang out at home.

John was a natural with her, and taught her things like "what happens in Wyoming, stays in Wyoming" He also believes she will speak Noraweigan.

Steph's boyfriend Matt got a lot of QT with Nora this weekend, she could tell he had baby holding practice. She did want to go to bed, she just wanted to lay on his lap while we played games.

We visited Grandma Zimmer's 4th grade classroom where Nora was a superstar!
